Futuresonic

An opportunity to see prize winning work from the recent 12th Japan Media Arts Festival. Open to international entries for 10 years, the festival is still largely focused on innovative Japanese work drawn from a mix of arts, entertainment and industry, with this year's jury selection made from more than 2000 entries.

Film Screening

Work selected from the animation division of the festival including grand prize winner The House Of Small Cubes by Kunio Kato, awarded a recent Oscar for short animated film.

Free event

A festival highlights showreel giving an overview of the programme covering art, animations, films, games, web works, manga and a leading technology showcase will also be shown throughout the day at Contact between 14-16 May.
