President of NEWTV Company - producer of audiovisual content for Internet, cellular and TV. Creator of MOBILEFEST- INTERNACIONAL FESTIVAL OF MOBILE CREATIVITY.Biography: Marcelo Godoy, 38, has`worked with the Internet since its beginning in Brazil In the last 18 years, Marcelo has been working on advertising campaigns, television production, international documentaries and broadband in companies like New Channel, Euro, Showlivre, Franmi, Tv Online and DPTO. In 2002 he won a Cyber Gold Lion award in the 50th International Advertising Festival of Cannes as Executive Producer for Renault Clio 'Fingerprints' for Ogilvy Marcelo produced over 200 Internet videos for clients like Nokia, Petrobrás, Skol, among others. He also presents the program 'NEWTV Mobile', the first online program about the cultural implications of the wireless technology in our lives. 'NEWTV Mobile' is a live, informal streaming TV show about the latest products, new opportunities for component manufacturers, technological innovations, art, the social impact and the opportunities of the new mobile life. The TV/web show goal is to generate discussions that allow the viewer the understanding of this visible mobile revolution.
