Geraldine Juarez is a self-taught designer from Mexico City based in Brooklyn, New York, where she is a senior fellow at Eyebeam. She is also one half of the low-profile art group Forays. Her interest are in low-tech crafts and social artifacts that enable moneyless interaction and brings attention to overwhelming consumption issues. Often, she obtains her supplies in rubbish bags, freecycling or by hacking public sites.
