Drew Hemment and Martin Stockley
ThePublicSpace

Meet, mingle and socialise in the new temporary architectural structure open to the people of Manchester. Built from wooden doors reclaimed from Manchester's oldest warehouse - which have been here, near Piccadilly Gardens, for 200 years. During Futuresonic people who work in and around Piccadilly have contributed time and effort for free to create a public social space for impromptu social gatherings, music performances, art interventions and festival happenings. Futuresonic with Piccadilly Partnership wanted to bring something new and inspirational to the very centre of Piccadilly and Manchester. Designed by Futuresonic's Drew Hemment and Martin Stockley of Martin Stockley Associates. Come and make it your own!

Supported by Piccadilly Partnership, Martin Stockley Associates, Manchester City Council, Arts Council England, Carillion.
