It's Paris vs London as SWR bring four acts currently at the forefront of the electro scene to Manchester for the first time. The event also features two unique visually based installations: PixelScape and Candeography. PixelScape is capable of displaying fully interactive 3D VJ sets through multiple projections onto it's complicated structure. Candeography is a light exposure based installation that utilises LED pens and a strobing ultra violet light to create a variety of temporary images and artworks.

65daysofstatic
65daysofstatic reach new depths with their wide-open sounds, melding seamless guitar shapes with ferocious drum 'n' bass styled beats, live drums and c-c-computer g-g-glitch. They are a bold new soundtrack to a dimension where rock, dance and electronica meet. Live, the band are viciously euphoric and like all good rock performers often bordering on chaos.

Exodus
What happens when two people meet - when one image merges into another, when time becomes a witness and a judge, when space is all that remains to tell a story? Exodus is a dynamic piece of sound-visual installation art that explores the transparency of image in the process of becoming something 'else', something 'new' through a series of explosive encounters with one's own reflections.
Written and directed by Eve Katsouraki, music by Dave Morris and Andreas Friberg.
Images by Denis Buckley.

Data Mine:
Through the Sound Shaft
Experimental audiovisual artists Augustine Leudar and Brian Benson create bizarre sound installations and music that featured previously at Squat parties, the Czech National gallery and the John Peel show. Leudar's fairytale soundscapes combine with Benson's dark surreal art to form a surround sound tunnel through which listeners have to wriggle.
